The Visualwind story
We started Visualwind in 2010 transforming the way meteorological data was used in the wind industry. Ever since, we have been solving problems for the renewable energy industry with software and digital innovation. Our team of developers is based in Sheffield, UK.
We believe that renewable energy is the future. But we know that successful renewable energy deployment will be dependent on advanced software and technical innovation across the supply chain.
Our focus is setting up renewable energy businesses for growth and long-term success. We develop personal, long-term partnerships with each of our clients and our agile and test driven approach is exactly what our clients are looking for.

Our Board
Peter Longbottom - Managing director
Peter co-founded Visualwind after a varied career in renewable energy development and operations. Peter manages day to day operations and business growth and works closely with customers.
Matt Atkins - Technical Director
Matt leads our team of software developers and works closely with customers. He has a background in electronic engineering and software development.
Chris Longbottom – Director
Chris is co-founder of Visualwind and supports the team with strategy and direction. He is also a co-founder and CEO of Mobile Power where he overseas delivery of distributed renewable energy and electric transport to off-grid communities around the world.
